Despite being focussed on his own preparation, he’s as excited as everybody else about the potential clash between Fury and Joshua. As far as predictions go, Yarde made it clear that he expects Fury to be victorious.“I have to be honest, right now in the heavyweight division you can’t go against Fury, based on his most recent performances, in his last however many fights he has looked spectacular.

He’s been hit by the biggest puncher in boxing, possibly in heavyweight history and been down and got back up.

Joshua is a better finisher than Wilder thought, it’s exciting – I hope it does happen.”

The 31-year-old, although clearly confident in Fury’s chances of winning the fight, warned ‘The Gypsy King’ that “Joshua is a better finisher than Wilder” and seemed to think that Joshua could get the stoppage if he managed to hurt the WBC champion.

The boxing world is eagerly awaiting an official announcement for Fury vs Joshua in what would undoubtedly be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.

News that Joshua has “accepted all terms” for a fight with Fury in Cardiff in December are leaving fans buoyant and it appears that the onus is now on Tyson Fury and promoter Frank Warren to send the final contract.

Meanwhile, as a mandatory challenger, Yarde hopes to secure the fight with Beterbiev soon. As of now, an injury to the champion has put talks on hold. Yarde isn’t expected to wait around though, planning to take a ‘keep-busy’ fight before the end of the year with his team reportedly readying an opponent.
