Mercedes, win-less this season, is refusing to leave a single stone unturned as they invest in ‘expensive mattresses’ in order to optimize the performance in the future.

Toto Wolff took an unconventional route to see his team perform at their highest potential

As per recent reports, Mercedes has made an investment for a ‘secret weapon’ each worth $2330.

However, their investments do not revolve around cars, so to speak. It’s more to the bed back home. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are currently sleeping in state-of-the-art, high-end, expensive, intuitive mattresses that gauge their body temperature, breathing, and heart rate.

They engineered this to enable a better understanding of their fitness needs and help them work around those needs in a better way.

The $540 Million Worth, Mercedes Boss, has endorsed this current experiment as they also continue to better their W-13 alongside.
