He assures that Demetrius Andrade is one of the best.

With his characteristic style, Tyson Fury said who he believes is the boxer who is currently most shunned: Demetrius Andrade, who he says is one of the great monsters boxing has today. “I’ll tell you someone we should mention, but he never gets a mention. He’s the bogeyman in every division, the one who needs a shot at something: Boo Boo Andrade.”

Believes Andrade can be champion in his division

Fury assures that ‘Boo Boo’ has what it takes to reign supreme in his division, and that he has everything going for him to get to the number one ranking. “The man is a two-weight world champion, and he’ll rip the ears off anyone who has the cojones to get in the ring with him,” he asserted.

“Give the man a chance to do something,” continued Tyson, who said he even scouted opponents for Demetrius, who is in a pretty close division, where he has several big names to take down, but “he needs his shot,” he noted.

“You’ve got Caleb Plant, you’ve got David Benavidez, you’ve got Charlo… Get them all in. Give him a chance. He’s 33 or 34 years old, and he hasn’t boxed against someone very heavy.”

To Fury’s taste, Andrade is an excellent athlete. And his numbers show it, as Andrade maintains his undefeated record, with 32 wins, 19 of which he got before the cut.

“Really, he’s a very good boxer. It’s the other names that don’t want to fight him. He’s the most avoided man in all of boxing today, and they do it because they’re afraid of him,” he said.

A few months ago, Andrade criticized Mexican Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez for his upcoming fight against John Ryder in May: “It’s just more sh*t*,” Andrade told the Thaboxingvoice channel. “That’s just what it is, just another easy fight.”
