Deontay Wilder has posted a series of bizarre messages on social media in the last few days.

It has led to users on Twitter asking if the Bronze Bomber is ‘drunk’.

Why are fans concerned about Deontay Wilder?

Wilder recently got back into the win column in October with a brutal first round knockout of Robert Helenius following back-to-back defeats to Tyson Fury.

“Ain’t nothing like them midnight munchies.”

But it didn’t stop there either as he shared another string of cryptic tweets on Sunday night.

One tweet read: “I stay under attack because I have that light. I was chosen I didn’t ask for this, but for much is given, much is required. I was hand selected in my mother’s womb. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. #ImBornForThis #BringItOn.”

Another said: “Caution a drunk person or a mad/hurt person will tell you the whole truth, listen but.”

A third added: “Hey baby, Mistakes are common it’s okay to make them. What’s important is what you learn from it. I love you bye. Champ.”

A fourth continued: “Love and being in love are two different things. I love you, I’ll do anything for you, but to a certain extent. I’m in love with you – there’s nothing I won’t do #IHadToRedoSorry”

Wilder later apologised by saying: “I just got a lot to say right now so excuse my behaviour… I’ll enter back into my world soon.”

His recent activity has left fans rather concerned for his wellbeing, but a few also made light of the situation.
