Eddie Hearn Predicts” Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury showdown this year

Eddie Hearn, renowned boxing promoter, has expressed his anticipation for a potential clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury later this year. However, he emphasized that Fury must first overcome Oleksandr Usyk, the current obstacle in his path.

While Joshua stands as a prime contender to face the victor of Fury’s forthcoming bout against Usyk, the heavyweight division gears up for potential unification.

Nonetheless, Joshua is slated to confront challenges against Dillian Whyte and Deontay Wilder before eyeing a matchup with the winner of Fury vs Usyk, as confirmed by Hearn, who represents Joshua under Matchroom Boxing.

During a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Hearn touched upon the subject while responding to inquiries about emerging talent in darts, specifically referencing Luke Littler.

“Because the darts Championship happens in December and January, I’m gonna say that Fury vs AJ happens this year,” Hearn stated. “So I’m gonna say Fury vs AJ [happens first]. So I’m gonna say Fury vs AJ [happens first].”
