“Personally I like Tank a little bit more. He’s a very smart fighter. Very smart, very cunning. He’s fast on the counter punches and I just think he’s got a lot of skill. The good news for fans is that all of these predictions may soon be put to the test. Davis is now free of an opponent following collapse of negotiations with IBF Champion Vasiliy Lomachenko, meaning he can unify his WBA belt with Shakur’s WBC should both sign to do so.

‘Tank’s co-trainer, Kenny Ellis, said the only thing that can stand in the way is ‘fear’ and pointed to Stevenson’s recent promotional free-agency as another obstacle avoided.

As for Leo, after losing his belt to Stephen Fulton he mounted a featherweight campaign and returns to the ring next month in an attempt to become a two-weight world champion against Mexico’s Luis Alberto Lopez.
