After traveling across the entire nation, Simone Biles and Co. are currently in the Lone Star State. But on October 20, the G.O.A.T. finally made the much-anticipated stop in the gymnast’s hometown of Houston. The “pop concert-style spectacle” graced the Moody Center on Saturday. For obvious reasons, the 11x Olympic medalist was as excited as ever to return to where it all began after her spectacular display in the French capital.

But since then, the gymnast has focused on heading the star-studded tour. In fact, Houston was just as excited to welcome the prodigal daughter home. However, no one was as excited as Ronni Biles, aka Baby Biles. The tiny tot watched her ‘TT’ dazzle the crowds at Bercy Arena in the French capital. Seeing how Simone Biles was finally in Houston, Sammi Biles, the gymnast’s sister-in-law, shared an adorable clip on her Instagram stories of them walking towards the stadium.

Simone Biles

Captioned, “my whole heart. so excited 🥹,” Sammi asks Ronnie, whom she sees as they approach the gates. As adorable as ever, she exclaims, “TT!” We can definitely see why she is excited to watch Simone Biles. Sammi matches her energy by chanting, “TT go, TT go.” The tiny tot can’t help but lift her hands up and clap as her mom continues chanting.

Shortly after making it inside, Sammi shares another video of them enjoying the show. Everyone has eyes for the stage, but Ronnie Biles is looking elsewhere. Her father holds her on his lap as Baby Biles looks over to the side, pointing at what we assume is a giant screen. Maybe she is trying to get a better look at her aunt.

The official Gold Over America Tour Instagram account shared a video of Clutch, the Houston Rockets mascot, trying to woo the Olympian with his gymnastics skills. They captioned the video, “Houston, are you ready to GOAT this weekend?” And boy, oh boy, were they ready. Even though Clutch’s moves were slightly shakey, he managed to bring a smile to the most decorated gymnast’s face. However, Baby Biles wasn’t the only one who got to watch the G.O.A.T. in her element.

Guess who stopped by in Houston to spend time with Simone Biles?

Simone Biles

A certain Chicago Bears safety cheered his wife on while she racked up medals in the French capital. However, as soon as they returned to the States, their time was cut short. The culprit in question? Their unbelievably busy schedules. Jonathan Owens had to resume training for the ongoing NFL season while the Olympian prepared to take the Gold Over America Tour onto the stage. Even though they had to settle for a long-distance situation, they found ways to visit each other throughout.

Simone Biles was back in her hometown, and she couldn’t help but share it on her Instagram story. But she wasn’t alone. Jonathan Owens joined her as they shared some much-needed alone time. The G.O.A.T. shared a few snaps of them sharing brunch, her infamous pout, while her husband sneaks a tender kiss. In fact, the lovebirds even enjoyed some shopping therapy as they walked around the streets of her hometown.

The ongoing Simone Biles-led Gold Over America Tour has been deemed a major success. There have been many reviews from the audience praising the show and its performances. The show is particularly well-liked by the younger generation, who have always been the target audience for it. This is a major achievement for Simone, for whom this tour has always been a dream project.

However, this has not been a simple task at all. Performing in 30 cities within just a bit over a month can be tiring for all the performers. There might come a point where both mental and physical fatigue kick in. The fact that some of these gymnasts have arrived on the tour straight from the Olympics must also be taken into consideration. However, the organizers of the Simone Biles-led tour seem to be aware of this and have taken precautions against it.

Simone Biles

Joscelyn Roberson, Simone Biles’ World Championship teammate, is a part of the tour squad. She revealed that the tour bus has a physiotherapist who always accompanies them after a show to help them recover to their fullest. This is because recovery is the most important thing in this tour and helps drive down the fatigue to a manageable level.

Talking to self.com, Joscelyn said, “We have a PT on the bus that travels with us. I think recovery is really important—so getting treatment, getting good rest, and then making sure you’re ready and really warmed up for the shows. Your body is your instrument on this trip, so making sure it’s as healthy as it can be is the most important thing.”

Joscelyn Roberson also likes to unwind after every performance and gets cozy in her Target robe. The gymnast also said that she prioritizes showering after every performance to feel better. “And taking off my makeup is really nice—that really settles me down,” she said. Joscelyn also claimed to have late-night conversations with fellow teammate Katelyn Ohashi, which helped reduce both the gymnast’s mental fatigue. Thus, all these things help them prepare to go to the next performance with a fresh mind and body.

This is how the Gold Over America tour has been a great success. However, there might be a dilemma with the tour, which they soon might have to deal with. This is because Simone Biles might have to take a break for a while because of other commitments.

Simone Biles could halt Gold Over America Tour because of Rising Documentary

Simone Biles’ Gold Over America Tour is ongoing in full swing right now as fans shower praise on the show. However, Simone herself must deal with other commitments. This is because the new season of her Netflix documentary Simone Biles Rising’s premiere is all set to take place on October 23rd in Los Angeles. The importance of the show might exceed the Gold Over America Tour, too, because of the journey it is going to show.

The second season is set to cover her comeback from the Tokyo Olympics debacle to her success in the Paris Olympics. Thus, it is very special to her, which is why she would never miss the premiere. The GOAT tour, which will currently perform in Houston next, will travel to Fort Worth for their October 20th performance.

Looks like the GOAT just got humbled—in the most hilarious way! During rehearsals for the Gold Over America Tour (aka GOAT tour), Simone Biles and her elite squad of gymnasts decided to take a break from dazzling on stage to have a little fun with the viral ‘Gymnast Grip Test.’ And what started as a friendly challenge turned into a social media sensation!

The challenge? A grip test using a Dynamometer Hand Grip Measurement Meter. Sounds fancy, right? It went viral during the Paris Olympics, with athletes like Félix Dolci, CJ Nickolas, and Kristina Teachout all giving it a shot. And let’s just say it wasn’t an easy feat—it revealed just how varied each athlete’s strength is, regardless of their sport.

The challenge was brought to the spotlight by Ian Gunther, an NCAA champion and content creator, and now our favorite gymnastics crew is getting in on the action! Ian Gunther, who’s on the Gold Over America Tour alongside Simone Biles and other gymnastics stars, introduced the “Gymnast Grip Strength Challenge 💪.” Fans were all in, loving the showdown, but the real gold came from the playful banter afterward!

Simone Biles

In a plot twist, no one saw coming, Simone Biles, the GOAT herself, scored a surprising 60 lbs. Her reaction? “Oh, that’s so weak!” Turns out, even the greatest athletes have their moments. Enter Paul Juda, who smashed the challenge with a whopping 100 lbs, and you know he couldn’t resist having some fun with it. He teased, “40 more than the GOAT,” sending everyone into fits of laughter.

Simone later jumped into the comments to laugh it off, writing, “I’m embarrassed hahahahaahahaha,” but also gave a cheeky explanation: “To be fair, that’s more than half my body weight, soooooooo I’ll take it.” Honestly, we can’t blame her for that one!

Biles wasn’t the only one feeling the grip test heat—fellow Olympian Jade Carey joined in and posted a respectable 59 lbs, just shy of Biles’ score. But it was Joscelyn Roberson who wowed everyone with a surprising 74 lbs grip, proving she’s got some serious strength.

Among the guys, Ian Gunther showed why he’s a 4X NCAA champ with an impressive 129 lbs. But it was Brody Malone who stole the show, shocking everyone with a jaw-dropping 159 lbs grip! While the young men dominated the grip-off, Paul Juda couldn’t help but admit just how strong Simone Biles is where it counts—on the competition floor.

Paul Juda reflects on Vault challenges and what makes Simone Biles the undisputed queen of the gymnastics arena

Just a few weeks ago, Paul Juda secured his ticket to Paris and stepped into the city of love with fellow Olympians. During the US Olympic Trials for Paris 2024, Paul Juda decided not to deploy one of his most important weapons in his routine. He chose to avoid one of the toughest stunts, the Yurchenko Double Pike or Biles II, during the trials because “it really is a bit scary”. Juda played safe, as a reason he stated, “For this trials, I knew that I could score very well with a simpler vault simply because of my clean and consistent nature on the vault.”

However, that’s not just it. Paul also made sure to consider the valuable suggestion of the queen herself. Juda reflected, “I’ve talked to Simone (Biles) before. We’ve both said that it’s a bit of a scary vault. I actually had to discontinue training the vault after the World Championships to lessen harm on my elbows. It’s very, very grueling … it takes a lot of impact.”

Simone Biles’ headliner Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour (GOAT) is back with a second edition mix of jaw-dropping stunts and high-energy choreography. With the Paris Olympics now behind us, the stage is set for some thrilling action. September marks the exciting return of the Gold Over America Tour after a three-year break, and this time it’s bigger, better, and set to give gymnastics fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Joining Simone Biles for the 2024 Gold Over America Tour are some stellar teammates and rising stars. Olympic gold medalists Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera will bring their dazzling skills to the stage, alongside U.S. Olympic team bronze medallists Paul Juda, Brody Malone, and Frederick Richard. With such a powerhouse lineup, the tour is set to be an unforgettable display of gymnastics brilliance.

Everything you need to know about Simone Biles’ Gold Over America Tour

In 2019, Simone Biles dreamed up something amazing—a tour that would blend sports and entertainment to inspire the next wave of female athletes. That vision became the Gold Over America Tour, also known as Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, which kicked off in 2021. Simone Biles headlined this unique show, and the excitement started with Katelyn Ohashi, the former UCLA gymnast, being the first cast member announced.

But it didn’t stop there! The lineup got even more exciting with stars like Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Grace McCallum, and MyKayla Skinner from the 2020 Olympics. Plus, fan-favorites like Morgan Hurd, Laurie Hernandez (who even narrated the opening act), and Chellsie Memmel joined in. The tour was all about celebrating gymnastics and putting on a show that’s both thrilling and inspiring!

Biles took a small break from gymnastics following the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

U.S. gymnastics legend Simone Biles has officially returned to training following her successful run at the Paris Olympic Games.

Simone Biles ready to go on tour

The 11-time Olympic medalist, who recently took a break after the competition, is gearing up for the highly anticipated Gold Over America Tour (G.O.A.T.), a nationwide event set to showcase both men’s and women’s gymnastics talent.

During rehearsals for the tour, Biles was seen back in the gym, a sight many fans have eagerly awaited.

Biles was seen on social media already dominating a new skill, the pommel horse used in men’s gymnastics.

Despite her recent time off, the Olympic icon remains as focused as ever.

“Truthfully, I’ve only gone into the gym to practice a handful of times because of my schedule,”Biles shared in a recent interview.

“I’ve barely been home, but my body needed this break, so I’m not mad about it.”

The tour kicks off next Monday in Oceanside, California, and will travel across 30 cities, ending in Detroit on November 3.

Biles will headline the event alongside fellow Team USA gymnasts, including Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey, with one notable absence being Suni Lee.

Biles expressed her excitement for the tour, saying, “I’m most excited for the fans to see the best of both worlds – men’s and women’s gymnastics in one arena, at the same exact time, sharing the same floor.”

Biles not bothered by calf injury anymore

Following her remarkable performance at the Paris Olympics, where she won four medals, Biles faced a minor setback with a calf injury, forcing her to wear a boot during the Closing Ceremony.

However, the injury didn’t slow her down for long.

Now, she’s ready to return to the spotlight for her upcoming performances, although she has decided to retire one of her most challenging skills, the Yurchenko double pike.

“No more! She had a good run,”Biles said with a laugh, referring to the vault.

In addition to performing, Biles sees the tour as an opportunity to inspire future gymnasts.

“This is a time to give back,” she said.

Simone Biles

“It’s about inspiring future generations, and I think having this time off helped me prepare – mentally and physically.”

Outside the gym, Biles and her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, are preparing for a new chapter in their lives as they plan to move into their newly built home.

“We feel so blessed to be able to build our dream home. We can’t wait to officially move in and expand our family one day,” she shared.

Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens traveled to Paris this summer to watch his wife Simone Biles compete at the Olympics.

On Sunday, it was Biles’ turn to play spectator as the Bears played their season opener at home against the Tennessee Titans. She got a show.

The Bears struggled on offense with rookie Caleb Williams at quarterback and trailed 17-3 early in the third quarter. The Bears forced a Titans punt on Tennessee’s first possession of the second half, setting up Chicago for its first touchdown of the day.

Simone Biles

Defensive lineman Daniel Hardy broke through the Titans’ line and blocked Ryan Stonehouse’s punt. Owens was there to scoop it up. He picked up the loose ball and returned it 21 yards for a Bears touchdown.

A 17-3 deficit had been cut to 17-10, sending the Solider Field crowd into a frenzy. Biles was watching.

She wrote on social media that she “almost had a heart attack.”

The play sparked a defensive-led Bears’ comeback, as Chicago scored on an interception return for a touchdown that gave them a 24-17 victory.

Simone Biles

Biles delivered at the Paris Olympics with four medals, including three golds. Owens was there to share in the medal celebration.

Biles will surely be happy to join in on celebrating Owens’ heroics following his big play on his first day in a Bears uniform after joining Chicago in the offseason.

Biles and Cruise were part of the LA2028 portion of the 2024 Paris Closing Ceremony

Simone Biles, the record-breaking gymnast, recently shared an unexpected confession during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

After dominating the Paris Olympics with multiple gold medals, Biles admitted that her most nerve-wracking moment wasn’t during her performance-it was when she had to hand the Olympic flag to actor Tom Cruise at the closing ceremony.

Biles feared handing over the Olympic Flag to Tom Cruise

Simone Biles

While discussing her experiences at the Games, Fallon asked Biles what had made her the most nervous.

Surprisingly, it wasn’t performing her signature Yurchenko double pike or her routines on the balance beam.

Instead, Biles revealed, “I was like, ‘Okay, I have to hand the flag off, don’t mess it up, don’t mess it up.’ I was terrified.”

The confession came as a surprise to many, considering Biles’ usual composure in high-stakes situations.

She humorously added, “I’m always tripping, falling down stairs… that’s what I was really worried about.”

Biles, now 27, also briefly touched on her potential participation in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, joking about how she feels “old” for the sport.

Nevertheless, she once again proved her prowess in Paris, bringing home three golds and a silver, cementing her status as the most decorated American gymnast of all time.

Upcoming plans for Biles & Cruise

In addition to her Olympic success, Biles is set to headline the Gold Over America Tour this fall, a 30-city gymnastics showcase featuring her teammates Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, along with a star-studded lineup of other athletes.

Even with her packed schedule, Biles remains committed to supporting her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, as he gears up for the season with the Chicago Bears.

As for Tom Cruise, the Mission: Impossible star is reportedly looking beyond the Earth for his next stunt-literally.

Cruise has expressed a fascination with space exploration and UFOs, fueling his ambitions to film a stunt in space.

According to sources, the actor’s deep-rooted interests in extraterrestrial life and his religious beliefs are major driving forces behind this passion.

Despite their different worlds, both Biles and Cruise have continued to push boundaries in their respective fields-Biles through her athletic prowess and Cruise through his groundbreaking film endeavors.

Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens are offering a peek into their “dream home” in Texas, which is currently under construction.

Biles, 27, and Owens, 29, posed together in a sweet mirror selfie shared via the Olympic gymnast’s Instagram Story on Saturday, August 31. In the snap, the pair looked up at a seemingly mirrored ceiling in the new home.

Another photo showed the Chicago Bears safety holding Biles’ hand in front of a large black marble fireplace. “Building our dream home,” Biles captioned the snap. “So lucky to do this thing called life with you.”

Simone Biles

Biles shared progress on the couples’ home build earlier this month via Instagram on August 22. “House meetings all day,” she wrote over a selfie taken during her busy schedule, which included overseeing landscaping, pool plans, audio and security systems and more.

She also shared a glimpse at her new kitchen, which features a sleek black-and-white backsplash and matching countertops. “So excited to make this house a HOME,” she enthused, adding, “A couple more months.”

The gold medalist first started sharing her home construction journey in September 2023. At the time, Biles’s only photo of the house was simply the base wooden framework and concrete foundation.

Simone Biles

Biles is fresh off of a successful 2024 Paris Olympics run, where she won three gold medals and one silver in gymnastics. She finished second place in floor behind Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade, but snagged gold for the individual all-around and vault finals, respectively. She won her third gold medal of the Paris Games as part of Team USA’s artistic gymnastics squad, which also consisted of Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera.

The Paris Olympics brought Biles’ Olympic medal count to 11. Whether or not she plans to add to that tally in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics has yet to be decided.

Biles’ sister, Adria, explains her reasoning.

Given her high-profile nature from being a global gymnastics star, anything Simone Biles does is prone to become a trending topic. So it’s no surprise that her love life is constantly under a microscope. Thankfully for boyfriend Jonathan Owens, he’s a professional NFL player and knows what it means to be in the spotlight.

Simone Biles

The two met on a dating app in March of 2020, right before the COVID pandemic began, and they then started dating shortly after, leading to their engagement in February of 2022. Biles and Owens were seemingly in love from the get-go, but not everyone was super excited about their relationship.

Simone Biles has a very clear and heartfelt message for all her followers after the Olympic Games

Olympic athlete Simone Biles made Olympic Games history with her gold medals in the tournament. She became the Olympic gimnast with the most gold medals in history. Her being considered one of the all-time greats needs to come with some other unwritten responsibilties. And Simone Biles takes that evry seriously. We are talking about a proper human rights activist who does a lot of charity work for social justice causes. Simone Biles had a very clear message to all the fans who enjoyed her Olympic Games participations after nearly a month of the games being over. But this time both her human rights activism spirit combined with her unwavering support for Team USA in all competitions.

SImone Biles’ message for Team USA

To people who may not be aware, the Olympic Games are always followed by the Paralimpics that will also take place in the city of Paris. She reminded everyone of her followers on social media that the Team USA Paralimpians just started competing on August 28 and urged all her followers to cheer on his compatriots for all competitions. THe tournament will keep pushing through until September 8. This is what Simone Biles wrote on her social media: “Don’t forget the Paralympics are on! Let’s support & watch these incredible athletes. GO USA!!!”

Simone Biles
In this year’s Paralimpics in the city of Paris, there will be 22 featured sports that include track & field, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and sitting volleyball. This is a competition just like the Olympic Games but for people with disabilities. For this year’s Paralimpics, Team USA actually sent an impressive 225 athletes to compete in all different disciplines. The large contingent includes stars like swimmer Jessica Long, cyclist Oksana Masters, and sprinter Hunter Woodhall. Back in the 2020 Paralimpics in Tokyo, China defeated Team USA in the medal count for the fifth consecutive time. Can Team USA win this time?
